How long before the wedding should we start?

Depending on your goals, it's best to give yourself at least 2-3 months lead time.  The more you practice the better you'll be, plus if you wait until the last minute you may cause yourself undue stress trying to squeeze your lessons in during an already hectic time.  Keep in mind, your lessons can be an oasis where you get to really relax and have fun amidst the wedding preparations - so no matter when you start, I'll make sure to help you get the most out of it.

How many lessons will it take?

Again, this depends on your goals. Most couples start with a 5 lesson package.  Everyone learns at a different rate, but 5 lessons is at least enough to look poised, learn a few basic moves and to have an elegant entrance and exit.

How often should we come?

To have an optimal learning experience I recommend no less than once per week.  2 to 3 lessons per week will accelerate your learning process because you'll gain momentum and have less time to forget between lessons.  That's not realistic for some people's schedule (or budget) so we'll work out a schedule that optimizes your time + budget + enjoyment.

Can we learn a choreographed number?

Certainly, I'd like nothing more than to make you and your beloved stars of Youtube!  This is a wonderful way to connect and bond with your partner and have a blast!  I'll work with you to select a song (or songs) that matches your personal style, then choreograph a routine that shows off your unique personalities.  (Requires a minimum of 10 lessons)

What should we wear to our lessons?

Wear comfortable shoes that fit well and won't slide off (no mules or flip-flops). You can wear regular street clothes but make sure you can move around comfortably in them.
